GAMES, AR and VR DEVELOPMENT

I have a proven track record of creating numerous immersive 3D, AR/VR games, and applications. My expertise extends to the realm of inverse kinematic based 3D character rigging. Additionally, I contributed to the development of 3D avatars and VR games during my XR course semester project, where I skillfully crafted 3D models using Blender. I was the lead Game developer for the project and a prime architect in designing the virtual environment and puzzles systems.

VR Game: Escape ROOM - D.o.D

Checkout the immersive VR game called Escape Room: Do.or.Die, developed by me with the help of two of my friends. As the name suggests it is an escape room game with 2 levels. The player has to solve a series of puzzles to progress through each level. Completion of all puzzles in one level leads to the next level.
Game is created using Unity.

Game Engine Immersive Spatial Audio

For this project, I modeled the interaction between various audio sources and different types of materials and meshes. To make the VR user experiences more immersive, the audio sources get manipulated depending on their frequency and the type of material they interact with. I utilized physical audio raycast and fine-tuning of material properties to achieve diverse sound effects within the virtual reality environment.

VR Locomotion System

Within this project, two types of controller aided VR locomotion are developed. The initial approach involves utilizing a straightforward joystick on the controller to facilitate in-game movement. The second method incorporates teleportation, allowing the user to choose a specific location and orientation using the controller to teleport.

VR Interaction System

This basic project showcases the in-game interactable objects developed using Unity's game engine physics system, aided by Oculus VR controller API. The system uses raycast to select objects at a distance. The Oculus API enables in-game object interaction and manipulation.
